I can remember as a little boy, my mother setting up a classroom where boys and girls would come and glue macaroni on boxes to make beautiful masterpieces.
Later I remember my mother setting up a room for Vacation Bible School at another church. When I asked what she was doing, she explained that VBS teachers from all over our county were coming to see ideas for teaching VBS that summer. As a child I couldn’t understand, but now I do. Associational VBS training clinics are greater today than ever before.
Two hundred leaders have already received training, and they are prepared to lead your associational clinic and show you great ideas for teaching and decorating for the Australian theme this year. If you want to gain a week’s worth of preparation in just a couple of hours, then search this list of Associational Clinics and find a training clinic near you. Please notice the three new Hispanic Training Clinics. A little bit of training will save a mountain of energy and time as you prepare for VBS this summer. This list and lots of decorating ideas also are posted at www.bgco.org/childhoodministries.
