DEL CITY—The 2015 State Evangelism Conference (SEC), hosted by the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma (BGCO), will be held Jan. 26-27 at Del City, First Southern.

Featured speakers include Franklin Graham, President and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse; Jim Cymbala, pastor of the Brooklyn Tabernacle in New York and author of several books including Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire; and John Avant, pastor of Concord, First in Knoxville, Tenn., among others.

Mike Napier, BGCO’s personal evangelism specialist, will oversee the 2015 SEC.

He said, “The State Evangelism Conference will be a great time of equipping for the work of evangelism, encouraging the work of evangelism, and inspiration for the work of evangelism. This year we will have two men that have been used by God in some amazing ways across North America and around the world. How often do we get to hear both Franklin Graham and Jim Cymbala in the same conference! These great speakers and other plans related to this event will equip Christians to share the Gospel in Oklahoma and around the world.”

Other speakers include John Avant, Knoxville Tenn., First pastor; Steve Gaines, Cordova, Tenn., Bellevue pastor; Thomas Hammond, Alpharetta, Ga., Alpharetta, First pastor; Steven Smith, vice president for student services and communications & professor of communication at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; Ken Weathersby, vice president for convention advancement of the Southern Baptist Convention; and Bobby Welch, associate executive director at Tennessee Baptist Convention.

Childcare is available during the SEC by reservation only. Please contact Fist Southern, Del City to make childcare reservations at 405-732-1300. Older children and teenagers who are needing to be part of a “home school” environment, this is also being provided by reservation.

There will also be a Women’s Session Jan. 27 from 9-11:45 a.m. This session will provide short and equipping messages of God’s faithfulness and inspiring messages filled with hope.
