In response to recent events in Tulsa, Okla., Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma Executive Director-Treasurer Dr. Anthony L. Jordan said the following:“My heart is heavy as I think about the recent events in Tulsa and our nation. As we grieve the death of Terence Crutcher and wait for all of the facts to be learned, let us pray for the peace that only our Lord Jesus can bring to the families of everyone affected by this tragedy, to the Tulsa community, our state and nation as a whole.”
