Services people want, when they want them, in a place they call home—this is what Entrusted Hearts by Baptist Village (EH) provides daily.
EH is a licensed home health agency that serves about 800 clients each week in the comfort of the place they call home. EH provides an array of services, which include assistance with bathing and dressing, medication management, companion services, skilled nursing, various therapies, medical equipment and much more.
Ellen Thompson is one of the many satisfied clients. She is a resident on the campus of Baptist Village of Oklahoma City. She moved from Ada, where she was an instructor at East Central University and conducted home tutoring.
She moved to Oklahoma City in order to be closer to her son who lives in Yukon. She chose to live at Baptist Village because of the many levels of service that were offered.
It wasn’t long before she realized her desire to receive a little more help at home. This is when she was introduced to EH. “The upkeep of my housework was just getting to be too much,” Ellen said. “Keeping things clean, helping with laundry, errands—Entrusted Hearts was able to help. The people from Entrusted Hearts are just very lovely people. I really enjoy them. They take care of it, and I don’t have to worry about a thing. It’s a wonderful service.”
Ellen recommends EH to anyone. “I would most certainly recommend Entrusted Hearts,” she said. “If it weren’t for them, I would probably be unable to live in my apartment. They have served me for many years and have allowed me to maintain my independence. I know they are the way to go.”
