DEL CITY—The Oklahoma Baptists’ Pastors Conference will once again precede the Annual Meeting of Oklahoma Baptists. On Monday, Nov. 13, pastors and church leaders will gather at Del City, First Southern for this annual event that Brad Graves describes will be a time for pastors “to renew and restore their relationship with Jesus.”

“We hope to grow pastors not only closer to God but closer to each other,” Graves wrote in a column for the Baptist Messenger. As senior pastor of Ada, First, he is serving as president of the Pastors Conference.

Graves announced the speakers for the Pastors Conference, describing them as “a mix of nationally- known pastors and several Oklahoma Baptist pastors” who will lead those attending the conference to reflect on the theme “Satisfied” and the theme verse, Ps. 103:5, “He satisfies your desire with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagles.”

John Avant, president of Life Action Ministries, is one of the nationally-known pastors who will be speaking, as well as Jordan Easley, pastor of Cleveland, Tenn., First, and Philip Nation, vice president of Thomas Nelson Bible Publishers.

Alton Fannin, pastor of Ardmore, First, and Adam Mask, pastor of Coweta, Community will be representing Oklahoma Baptist pastors who will be speaking at the Pastors Conference. Testimonies will be offered by Drew Wright, executive pastor at Jenks, First; Rusty Fuller, pastor of Ada, Trinity; and Ethan Wolfe, a student at Oklahoma Baptist University.

Morning session begins at 9 a.m. Pastor’s Luncheon will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Easley and Brian Mills, pastor of Yukon, Trinity will be speaking at the luncheon. A special women’s luncheon with Donna Avant, wife of John Avant, also will meet.
