Oklahoma Baptist University is excited to host STEM Day 2024, an engaging event dedicated to high school students interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The event, which will be held on Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the OBU campus in Shawnee, aims to create a dynamic environment where students can explore various STEM fields, gain deeper insights and discover new passions that could shape their future academic and career paths.
Throughout the day, participants can attend specialized hands-on breakout sessions covering a range of topics, including science, engineering, health and more. These sessions are designed to expand students’ understanding and ignite a lasting interest in STEM disciplines.
STEM Day is open to high school students in grades 9-12. Seniors and teachers will have access to breakout sessions tailored specifically to their interests.
This event offers students a unique chance to broaden their knowledge and inspire their future pursuits in the ever-evolving world of STEM.
